Thank you for choosing Mystakidis Tours LLC ("Mystakidis", "we", "us", "our"). These Tour Conditions set out what Mystakidis provides when you purchase a pilgrimage ("Tour") and the obligations that bind both parties. Submitting a reservation request constitutes full acceptance of these terms.

1. Price Guarantee
Upon receipt of your deposit, the land and air, or land only, price quoted in U.S. dollars is locked. If airfare is included, economy-class round-trip fare from the agreed departure city is likewise guaranteed. Ancillary airline charges (checked bags, seat upgrades, in-flight services) are at your cost.
2. What Your Package Includes
- Airfare (if applicable): round-trip, economy class, from the specified departure city.
- Guided pilgrimage: licensed tour leaders plus coordination with local clergy for liturgy and prayer as available.
- Hotels and meals: carefully chosen four-star lodgings, half board (breakfast daily and most dinners as the day-by-day notes).
- Ground transport: private, air-conditioned coaches.
- Sightseeing and admissions: all group entrance fees and licensed local guides.
Exclusions: optional excursions, lunches outside the meal plan, gratuities for the guide and driver, personal purchases, extra baggage, and other discretionary expenses.
3. Itinerary Flexibility
Mystakidis may adjust the itinerary for weather, site closures, or clergy availability. Comparable substitutes will be provided. Unused portions alone do not create a refund right.
4. Reservations and Payments
4.1 Deposit
A flat deposit of $400 per person reserves your place. The deposit is due within seven days of booking. Reservations made 90 days or fewer before departure require full payment at booking.
4.2 Final Payment
Balance is due ninety days before departure. Non-payment by the deadline may result in cancellation with no refund.
4.3 Payment Methods
Visa, MasterCard, American Express (deposit and balance) or U.S.-bank check or bank draft (balance only). Returned payments incur a $35 fee.
5. Solo Pilgrims and the Single Supplement
Single rooms are limited and carry an additional fee. Solo pilgrims who are willing to share are matched as roommates of the same sex at no supplement. Single-supplement fees are refundable until 90 days before departure. After that point they are non-refundable unless Section 7 applies.
6. Changes and Transfers
90 days or more before departure
One complimentary transfer to another Mystakidis pilgrimage. Any price difference is payable immediately.
Less than 90 days before departure
Transfers are not permitted except under Section 7 or at Mystakidis's sole discretion.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Refunds are governed by the cancellation schedule shown in the signed Mystakidis "Proposal and Invoice". The default schedule (applies when the Proposal is silent) is:
| Notice received before departure | Refund of payments made |
|---|---|
| 90 days or more | 100% less deposit |
| 89 to 60 days | 50% |
| 59 to 30 days | 25% |
| Less than 30 days | No refund |
Deposits become non-refundable seven days after receipt.
Refundable events
At Mystakidis's sole discretion, additional refunds may be granted for serious illness or injury (doctor's letter), home rendered uninhabitable by disaster or crime (official report), military deployment (official orders), or unanticipated job loss (employer letter). Refund amounts will not exceed the percentages above unless the Proposal states otherwise.
Refund procedure
Send written notice and documentation to sales@mystakidistours.com or by mail to the address above. If you hold travel-insurance coverage, file with your insurer first. Mystakidis processes any eligible refund only after the insurer's final settlement.
8. Releases and Health Declarations
All travelers must sign Mystakidis's General Release and Waiver and Health and Safety Pledge prior to departure. Failure voids your reservation without refund.
9. Participant Responsibilities
Participants should be in good general health, able to carry or roll their own luggage on uneven ground for up to 15 minutes, walk up to two continuous hours daily, and navigate free-time activities independently. All participants must comply with health directives and refrain from smoking or vaping during group activities. Mystakidis may remove any participant whose conduct jeopardizes safety or group harmony, with no refund.
10. Mystakidis Cancellations and Itinerary Changes
If Mystakidis cancels a Tour, you may obtain a full refund within fourteen days or transfer funds to another Tour. Mystakidis is not liable for ancillary costs (airfare, visas, and similar). If Mystakidis alters an itinerary, comparable substitutes will be arranged. Price variances will be credited or surcharged accordingly.
11. Liability, Insurance, and Travel Documents
Mystakidis acts solely as agent for independent suppliers and is not responsible for delays, force-majeure events, or personal loss or injury. Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended. Your passport must remain valid at least six months beyond your return date. Visa and vaccination compliance is your responsibility.
12. Governing Law and Claims
Mystakidis Tours LLC is registered in Wyoming. All disputes are governed by Wyoming law with exclusive venue in Laramie County courts (state or federal).
Complaints: sales@mystakidistours.com or by mail to the address above.
